David is a regular competitor at solo piping events throughout Scotland and enjoys considerable success.\u00a0He\u00a0has played with many of Scotland\u2019s top bands such as Boghall and Bathgate Pipe Band and Scottish Power Pipe Band.\u00a0David has had many opportunities to perform in various countries around the world including France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain and China.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Sarah was born in Falkirk in 1991\u00a0and\u00a0began learning to play harp at age 11. After four years of studying music Sarah is now a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she has obtained a First Class Honours degree.Sarah has had the honour of playing at some fantastic festivals, venues and events including, The 2012 London Olympics, The Papal Visit & Interceltique Lorient Folk Festival France.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Debbie Mackay is a freelance drama artist from Inverness. She first started running drama workshops in 2007 and has worked at numerous F\u00e8is events throughout the country. Some of her most recent acting work has been with Young Films on BBC Alba’s newest drama, Bannan, where she plays the lead role of Mairi.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Allan Craig is a successful pipe band snare and drum kit teacher with over 30 years experience. He teaches all over Europe and the USA; offering his tutoring services to bands for one to one teaching\/workshops and drum score writing. Allan is Leading Drummer of the successful Lomond & Clyde Pipe Band.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

A graduate of the RSAMD, Ron is an accomplished guitar, fiddle and piano player. He is currently in the backing band for the NYPBS, part of the Live Music Now scheme and is a member of \u201cFolk Band Of The Year\u201d nominees The Scott Wood Band<\/i>. Along with numerous gigs overseas, Ron has performed for a number of high profile individuals including Sir Sean Connery, Karen Gillan & Sir Patrick Stewart.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Born and raised in Erskine, Scott began playing whistle\u00a0at the age of 12. He is a graduate of the\u00a0Scottish Music course from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.\u00a0In 2014, the ‘Scott Wood Band<\/a>‘ was formed. In their first year together they played many festivals and were nominated for ‘Folk Band of the Year’ at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.\u00a0He has\u00a0toured extensively worldwide including Europe, America, Australia and South America.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Born and raised in Orkney, Jessica immersed herself in traditional music from a young age. She began playing piano at the age of 9, followed by the clarsach at 11.\u00a0A graduate of the Scottish music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she was recently a finalist in the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition. \u00a0As well as teaching at the Junior Conservatoire at the RCS and the Glasgow Academy, Jessica delivers\u00a0traditional music workshops, including ukulele, for F\u00e8is Rois\u00a0across\u00a0Dumfries and Galloway.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
