Our Saturday classes offer a brilliant opportunity to try something new, make friends, and build confidence through traditional music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Classes take place during term time at <span class=\"s1\"><b>West Primary School, Paisley<\/b><\/span>. Each participant receives up to <span class=\"s1\"><b>1 hour of group tuition every week<\/b><\/span> in one of our core instruments: <span class=\"s1\"><b>accordion, fiddle, or guitar<\/b><\/span>. Newstart places are aimed at <span class=\"s1\"><b>Primary 5 level and above<\/b><\/span>, though we\u2019re happy to consider other ages or ability levels too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t have an instrument \u2014 we have a supply of instruments available to hire (<a href=\"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/instrument-hire\/\">click here to find out more<\/a>).<i><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">No experience is needed \u2014 just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! All classes are delivered in a friendly group setting, with weekly goals set by our tutors. Each week, musicians work in a mixed-instrument group with one of our tutors to develop their <span class=\"s1\"><b>musicianship, creativity, and performance skills<\/b><\/span>. Our Saturday classes offer a brilliant opportunity to try something new, make friends, and build confidence through traditional music.<\/p> <p>Classes take place during term time at <b>West Primary School, Paisley<\/b>. Each participant receives up to <b>1 hour of group tuition every week<\/b> in one of our core instruments: <b>accordion, fiddle, or guitar<\/b>. Newstart places are aimed at <b>Primary 5 level and above<\/b>, though we\u2019re happy to consider other ages or ability levels too.<\/p> <p>Don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t have an instrument \u2014 we have a supply of instruments available to hire (<a href=\"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/instrument-hire\/\">click here to find out more<\/a>).<i><\/i><\/p> <p>No experience is needed \u2014 just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! All classes are delivered in a friendly group setting, with weekly goals set by our tutors. Regular <b>at-home practice<\/b> is essential, and we support this through practice diaries to track progress and set clear targets.<\/p> <p><b>Showcase events<\/b> take place throughout the year, giving families the chance to see and celebrate the progress our young people are making.<\/p>\n\n<p><b>Band Workshops:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p> <p>For pupils in <b>S1\u2013S6<\/b> who are already confident on their instrument, our <b>band workshops<\/b> offer the chance to take their playing further. Each week, musicians work in a mixed-instrument group with one of our tutors to develop their <b>musicianship, creativity, and performance skills<\/b>. Together, they\u2019ll arrange and rehearse music to be performed at our showcase events throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><b>F\u00e8is Bheag:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p> <p>For younger children in <b>P1\u2013P4<\/b>, our <b>F\u00e8is Bheag<\/b> sessions are a perfect introduction to the world of traditional music.
