As a crucial part of our team, the Finance Administrator will contribute to the enhancement of our financial systems and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role Summary:<\/strong> The Finance Administrator will play a key role in developing and implementing effective financial systems, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Responsibilities include financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>System Development:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with the F\u00e8is Ph\u00e0islig Director and Board to implement robust financial systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and recommend improvements to streamline financial processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Compliance:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure adherence to financial policies, standard procedures, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct internal audits to assess and enhance compliance measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Monitoring and Analysis:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitor financial reports, identify trends, and provide analysis for informed decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide insights into financial performance and potential areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate financial information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Person Specification:<\/strong> <strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in financial management and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of financial policies, procedures, and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pleasant manner, diplomacy, and the ability to build good relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in financial software (e.g., FreeAgent) and MS Office Suite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional useful attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A good knowledge of the F\u00e8is movement and community arts across Renfrewshire\/Scotland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Position:<\/strong> Finance Administrator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Period:<\/strong> February &#8211; July 2024 (6 months)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Responsible to:<\/strong> F\u00e8is Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Type of contract:<\/strong> Freelance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Place of work:<\/strong> At home<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fixed-term fee:<\/strong> \u00a33600 + reasonable travel expenses (Based on 225hrs x \u00a316p\/h, inclusive of VAT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong> To apply, send your CV and a cover letter to <a>info@feisphaislig.com<\/a> by 5 pm on Friday, 19th January 2024.
