If you\u2019re aged 16-25 and interested in gaining experience as a professional musician, we\u2019d love to hear from you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the Ceilidh Trail?<\/strong><br>The F\u00e8is Ph\u00e0islig Ceilidh Trail gives talented up-and-coming musicians aged 16-25 the opportunity to experience life on the road as a traditional musician for 2 weeks in summer. Giving participants the chance to meet and collaborate with other aspiring young musicians whilst developing core skills required for a career in the creative industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Audition Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday 9th March 2024<br><strong>Venue:<\/strong>\u00a0The Wynd Centre, Paisley<br><strong>Times:<\/strong>\u00a0Applicants will attend <em>either<\/em> our morning (10:00-12:00) or afternoon (12:00-14:00) session<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to Expect<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Auditions will involve:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A short individual audition where we\u2019d like to hear two contrasting pieces\/sets on your main instrument. If you play a second instrument, you can prepare one piece\/set for that too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A group task, where you\u2019ll work with other applicants to arrange a tune or song, reflecting the teamwork and creativity involved in the Ceilidh Trail tour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A chance to ask questions and learn more about what\u2019s involved in the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br>If you\u2019d like to audition, please\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/gd\/ceilidh-trail-application\/\" title=\"\">apply as soon as possible<\/a><\/strong>.
