{"id":13588,"date":"2025-05-01T20:00:04","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T20:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/?p=13588"},"modified":"2025-05-01T20:00:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-01T20:00:10","slug":"applications-open-for-feis-week-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/gd\/applications-open-for-feis-week-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Applications open for F\u00e8is Week 2025!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Join us for a week of music, culture, and fun at F\u00e8is Week 2025!\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are so excited for our upcoming 10th annual F\u00e8is Week this summer from the 15th-18th July at Johnstone High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are <strong>currently open<\/strong> with our final release of places on the 5th May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come along for four fun-filled days of traditional music, Gaelic culture, and creative arts! Our F\u00e8is Week offers tailored classes for young people aged 5-18 and is led by some of Scotland\u2019s best traditional musicians and tutors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>F<strong>\u00e8<\/strong>is Bheag (P1\u2013P3 pupils)<\/strong>: An introduction to traditional music and Gaelic song in a fun, play-based setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Main F\u00e8is (P4\u2013S6 pupils):<\/strong>&nbsp;Come-and-try workshops with music, song, dance, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New for 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Our Band Workshops are designed for those who already play an instrument and are receiving regular lessons. All other classes in the Main F\u00e8is are aimed at complete beginners (those with little or no previous experience).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Advanced F\u00e8is (S1\u2013S6 pupils):&nbsp;<\/strong>A series of developmental workshops for high school-aged pupils with playing experience.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Find out more info and sign up <a href=\"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/feis-week\/\" title=\"\">here<\/a><\/strong>.
