{"id":14353,"date":"2025-10-20T13:06:49","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T13:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/?p=14353"},"modified":"2025-11-14T09:07:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T09:07:19","slug":"now-hiring-asn-assistant-tutor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/gd\/now-hiring-asn-assistant-tutor\/","title":{"rendered":"Now Hiring: ASN Assistant Tutor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We\u2019re excited to be recruiting <strong>two Assistant Tutors<\/strong> to work alongside our lead tutor, Se\u00e1n Gray, supporting the delivery of traditional music sessions for pupils with additional support needs at Riverbrae and Mary Russell Schools in Renfrewshire.<br><br>This is an ideal opportunity for musicians with an interest in traditional music and Gaelic culture who are passionate about working with young people and keen to gain hands-on experience in inclusive education settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each Assistant Tutor will be assigned to one of the second or third school terms, taking part in a structured 4-week training block to build experience in inclusive teaching methods tailored to ASN settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Position: <strong>Assistant Tutor<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rate: <strong>\u00a344 p\/h + reasonable travel expenses<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule: <strong>Wednesdays (TBC)<\/strong> \u2013 for a<strong> 4-week block<\/strong> during either the January\u2013March 2026 term or April\u2013June 2026 term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Interest in traditional music and\/or Gaelic culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positive, flexible attitude towards inclusive learning environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to learn and adapt teaching approaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some previous experience working with children and young people (desirable but not<br>essential).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, please send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to&nbsp;<strong>info@feisphaislig.com<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>5pm on Sunday 16th November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an online interview on&nbsp;<strong>Monday 24th November 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>View the full job description here:<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ASN-Assistant-Tutor-Job-Description-2025.pdf\" title=\"\">https:\/\/feisphaislig.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ASN-Assistant-Tutor-Job-Description-2025.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions or would like to know more before applying, feel free to get in touch.
