Tha sinn cho moiteil às ar Còisir Ghàidhlig a bhuannaich a’ cho-fharpais aon-fhuaimneach aig a’ Mhòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail. Tha a h-uile duine aig Fèis Phàislig (agus ann an Siorrachd Rinn Friù) gu math pròiseil asta!
Our Gaelic Choir had a fantastic day at the Royal National Mòd in Fort William on the 13th October. They came 1st in the Under 13 Choral Unison Learners section, earning top marks in both Gaelic and music. The choir performed two songs Chan Eil Mo Leannan Ann An Seo and Till an Crodh, a Dhòmhnaill and walked away with all three awards on offer: the Donald and Mamie MacPhail Trophy, the Darlington Society Silver Jubilee Trophy and the Morag Robb Memorial Trophy.
We’re so proud of our young singers for their hard work and brilliant performance.
A huge thank you also to Ellen MacDonald for stepping in while our Choir Leader Mairi is away on tour – and to both Ellen and Mairi for their hard work with the choir in preparation.
