The Fèis Phàislig Gaelic Choir welcomes young people, aged 8-18, with a passion for singing.

Our Gaelic Choir sessions are an opportunity for young people to come together and sing in a fun environment. Participants do not require previous knowledge of Gaelic to join and will have the opportunity to compete in local and national competitions including the Royal National MOD.

In partnership with Renfrewshire Council, and with support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig, participation in the choir is free for all participants. Sessions take place on Tuesday evenings during term time at Castlehead High School. We currently have two sessions running – the first at 6pm and second at 7pm. Once registered, we will confirm session details and times by email.

All of our tutors are experienced, professional musicians, skilled in working with young people. We also have a pool of supervisors and volunteers who help our events run smoothly. Young people are supervised at all times and we work in accordance with Child Protection and Health & Safety Guidelines. Our staff are all members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme administered by Disclosure Scotland.
