Ceilidh Trail 2025 – First Tour Dates Announced!
As part of our 10-year anniversary programme, we’re excited to announce the return of our Fèis Phàislig Ceilidh Trail – a paid summer performance opportunity for young traditional musicians.
Following auditions held in March, four talented performers were selected to form this year’s touring group. We’re delighted to introduce:
Jamie Brewer – guitar
Stella MacIntyre – clarsach
Anna Morrison – fiddle
Daniel Small – accordion
Since being selected, the group has been working closely with our tutors to develop a lively set of traditional music and Gaelic song, ready to take on tour this summer.
The Ceilidh Trail is a professional development programme for emerging artists aged 16–25. It provides hands-on experience in live performance, stagecraft, ceilidh calling, and Gaelic language use through a series of concerts and community events across Renfrewshire and beyond. The project has previously offered early-career experience for young musicians who have gone on to perform nationally and internationally.
We’re pleased to share the first release of tour dates for 2025, which includes a mix of public performances and community outreach. Key events to look out for include:
- Tuesday 29 July – The National Piping Centre, Glasgow (in partnership with Fèis Rois)
- Friday 1 August – The Wynd Centre, Paisley (reserve your tickets here)
- Saturday 9 August – Erskine Arts
The group will be performing in libraries, care homes, community centres and festivals – sharing their music with people of all ages. We hope you’ll be able to join us at one of the events along the way.
More dates will be announced in due course.
You can view the first tour poster below – and please do share it with friends, family, and music lovers in your area.
