Gaelic Choir Perform Fantastic Set at Renfrewshire Schools’ Spring Concert Series
The newly refurbished Paisley Town Hall was alive with traditional music and Gaelic last night as the Renfrewshire Schools’ Spring Concert Series welcomed the beautiful voices of our Gaelic Choir. Led by the talented Mairi McGillivray, the choir delivered a beautiful performance that impressed the audience in attendance.
The choir, which meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at Castlehead High School, took to the huge stage with confidence, showcasing their songs and passion for Gaelic. This wasn’t the first time our choir had performed on the Paisley Town Hall stage after performances at the Royal National Mòd back in October.
The choir shared six of their songs: Tiugainn do Sgalpaigh; Crodh Chailein; ‘S ann an Ìle; Iomraibh Eutrom; Gille Beag Ò; Puirt-a-beul.
The performance was a testament to the hard work and talent of these young singers, and their dedication to keeping Gaelic music alive and thriving in our community. Congratulations to the Gaelic Choir for a fantastic performance!
