Fèis Phàislig awarded Tesco Stronger Starts funding for Music for All
We’re delighted to have been awarded £1,000 through the Tesco Stronger Starts programme to support our Music for All project in Paisley.
The funding has contributed towards the delivery of inclusive traditional music sessions for children and young people with additional support needs, delivered in partnership with local ESN schools. Music for All focuses on participation, confidence and enjoyment, using high-quality live music to support wellbeing, communication and creative expression.
Due to the nature of the settings we work in, and in line with safeguarding and permissions, we don’t share images or footage from these sessions publicly. However, the impact of the project has been strongly felt by pupils and staff, with teachers reporting increased engagement, positive mood changes and growing confidence among participants.
We’re very grateful to Tesco Stronger Starts and to everyone who voted for our project during the in-store funding round. Support like this helps us ensure that children who face additional barriers can access meaningful, high-quality arts experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
