May Fèis Weekend

May 8th-10th 2026

A brand new three-day celebration of traditional music, Gaelic song and community.

A weekend of music, learning and community in the heart of Paisley

Join us for our first ever May Fèis Weekend – a three-day celebration bringing together traditional music, Gaelic song and people of all ages, with opportunities for a range of experience levels.

Taking place across venues in Paisley, the weekend is designed to be welcoming, flexible and accessible. You can join us for a single event or take part across the full weekend.

From a lively Friday night ceilidh, through a full day of hands-on workshops, to a special evening concert and relaxed Sunday sessions, this is a chance to experience traditional music in a variety of ways – whether you’re taking your first steps or building on years of playing and singing.

Access & Inclusion

We want everyone to feel welcome at May Fèis Weekend, with opportunities to take part across a range of ages and experience levels.

Our singing workshops are open and accessible, whether you’re building confidence or already have some experience. For instrumental players, we offer a range of workshops designed to develop existing skills in a supportive and relaxed environment. Please note that instrumental workshops are not suitable for complete beginners.

The Friday Family Ceilidh and Saturday evening concert are ticketed events, offered on a pay-what-you-can basis to ensure there are no barriers to participation. Saturday workshops and Sunday sessions are free to attend.

All venues are accessible, and we aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can take part at their own pace.

If you have any access requirements or questions ahead of the weekend, we’d love to hear from you.
