Stramash For Schools: Golden Ticket Winners!

Back in April, we hit the road once again for our Stramash for Schools tour, visiting 47 schools across Renfrewshire over 12 days! As part of this year’s tour, we introduced our brand-new Golden Ticket draw, giving participating schools the chance to win a full day of live music, Gaelic and fun with the Fèis Phàislig team.

The school with the highest percentage of entries was Bridge of Weir Primary School, and we had a fantastic time visiting them last Friday to celebrate their win!

Our tutors Grant, Ron and Joy spent the day working with the whole school, singing songs, ceilidh dancing, playing games and having lots of fun. It was brilliant to see so many young people involved and enjoying a day of traditional music and Gaelic culture.

We were also joined by Todd Weller from Well Good Media, who captured some fantastic photos and videos of all the fun throughout the day. Check out some of the photos below and keep your eyes peeled on our social media, where we’ll be sharing some of the highlights soon!

A huge thanks to Bridge of Weir Primary School for their enthusiasm and congratulations again on winning our very first Stramash for Schools Golden Ticket!
