Launch of Caraidean na Fèise (Fèis Friends) Volunteering Programme
We are excited to announce the launch of our volunteer program Caraidean na Fèise / Fèis Friends. Volunteering with us is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference, support young people, and celebrate traditional music and Gaelic culture. Whether you’re passionate about the arts or simply looking to give back to your local community, we’d love to have you join us!
You don’t need to be a Gaelic speaker to get involved – many of our volunteers and participants are learners or completely new to the language. We provide simple Gaelic resources such as phonetic greetings, cheat sheets, and audio guides to make it easy to take part. If you’re fluent, we’d love for you to bring the language to life with us, but it’s not a requirement – all that matters is your enthusiasm for our culture and community!
As a volunteer with Caraidean na Fèise, you can get involved in a wide range of events and activities. For example at our Fèis Week you could assist with registration, workshops, and concert logistics. Or at our Christmas and Summer concerts and volunteers could assist with ticketing, ushering, or backstage roles.
