Now Hiring: Fèis Bheag Tutor for 2025/26
We’re excited to be recruiting a new Fèis Bheag Tutor to join our team for the 2025/26 academic year.
Our Fèis Bheag sessions run as part of our Weekly Lessons programme on Saturday mornings during term time and are designed for children in P1-P4. The sessions offer a fun and engaging introduction to traditional music, Gaelic song, arts and crafts, and dance. We run separate groups tailored to different participants – those in Gaelic-medium education take part in sessions delivered fully in Gaelic, while those with little or no Gaelic receive sessions in English with elements of Gaelic.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, creative, and confident working with younger learners. Experience in music, education, Gaelic or youth work is welcome!
Job Details
- Position: Fèis Bheag Tutor
- Hours: Saturdays, 10:00am–2:00pm (minimum 3 hours guaranteed; full 4 hours subject to participant numbers)
- Rate: £44 per hour + reasonable travel expenses
- Location: West Primary School, Paisley
- Start date: September 2025
