Stramash for Schools 2025
Celebrating Gaelic and Traditional Music Across Renfrewshire
This April and May, our team of professional musicians is hitting the road to bring live traditional music and Gaelic language to 45 schools across Renfrewshire — from foot-stomping tunes to singalongs and stories, it’s a celebration of culture, community, and creativity!
Quiz Challenge: Who Will Be Crowned Champions?
For the first time ever, we’re running our Stramash for Schools Quiz Challenge!
All participating schools have the chance to climb the leaderboard and be named our first ever Quiz Champions. The winning school will receive a return visit from our team of tutors — bringing even more live music, games, and fun to your pupils. Complete the short quiz below and help your school race up the leaderboard!
Please note: each pupil can only submit one entry.
How Does Scoring Work?
To keep things fair between larger and smaller schools, we’re calculating scores using a points-per-pupil ratio — so every quiz completed boosts your school’s average score, not just the total number of entries.
That means every single pupil counts — the more that take part, the better your school’s chances!
If more than one school achieves a top score, those schools will be entered into a prize draw to decide the winner.
